This year’s routes of the “Rothaus Bike Giro Hochschwarzwald”, which will be held from 15th to 18th of August 2019, have now reached their final profiles. The professional mountain biker Simon Stiebjahn (Team Bulls) is again responsible for the route selection of the mountain bike stage race for professional and non-professional bikers, which is organized by Sauser Event GmbH in the third year as a follow-up event to the Trans Schwarzwald.

Simon “Stiebi” Stiebjahn once again scoured his home trails and filtered out four attractive stages for the Rothaus Bike Giro Hochschwarzwald. The two stage hosts Feldberg and Grafenhausen-Rothau alternate in the same order each year, so this time the first stage 2019 will be started on 15th of August at 1 p.m. in the Badische Staatsbrauerei Rothaus. With two marathon stages on Thursday and Friday around Rothaus, an Individual Time Trial on Saturday and the final stage on Sunday, both with start and finish on the Feldberg, there will again be exciting and varied routes through the Black Forest. For the first time a marathon stage will take place at the beginning an on Saturday the Individual Time Trial with start and finish on the Feldberg will follow.

All in all, the riders can look forward to a great and diverse choice of routes and thus enjoy four days of pure mountain biking. Despite almost 200 kilometers and 5,800 vertical meters, the focus was on fun and pleasure in the route selection. The trail portion will be high again and the routes will lead into the most beautiful corners of the Black Forest. The participants are always offered unique panoramic views and a great final stage on the Feldberg.
