Big news concerning the fourth edition of the Rothaus Bike Giro Hochschwarzwald. The 4 day stage race for mountain bikers will have a new stage host city and will take place from 20th rull 23rd of August, 2020.
Todtnau will celebrate its premiere as a stage host next year. The community will replacing the Feldberg, which was partner location in previous years. “We start the Rothaus Bike Giro Hochschwarzwald on Thursday, in Todtnau, more precisely on the “Notschrei” with start and finish in the Nordic Arena at 1119 meters above sea level,” explain the organizers Kai and Rik Sauser. Both are enthusiastic about the new partner Todtnau: “In winter, countless cross-country skiers use the over 40 km long network of ski cross country trails. In the coming summer there will be several hundred mountain bikers on great routes and trails! ”The organizer of the four-stage race in the Upper Black Forest, Sauser Event GmbH agency from Villingen-Schwenningen, expects new impulses from the current route planning, but also tried and tested goose bumps for all ambitious mountain bikers , The stages lead partly over established routes but are garnished with new sections.
While the first two stages start and end on 20th and 21st of August on the “Notschrei” in Todtnau, Grafenhausen and the Rothaus Brewery take over as usual for the third and fourth stages on 22nd and 23rd of August. The new contract with the municipality of Todtnau runs over the next two years up to and including 2021. Energieversorgung Oberes Wiesental GmbH (EOW) is on board as a regional sponsoring partner.
